Skiing, Surfing, Shopping: Our Spring Break Adventures

Hello friends!

Spring break has come and gone, and let me tell you, this one was an epic one! Let me tell you about our adventure that had everything from skiing to surfing and, of course, a bit of shopping thrown in!

Part 1: Skiing

Our journey started at Mount Washington, where the slopes called our names. I've always been a skiing enthusiast, and watching my daughter Abbygail giggle and glide down those snow-covered hills brought pure joy to my heart. There's just something magical about the crisp mountain air and the rush of speeding down those slopes.

Part 2: Shopping

Now, let's talk shopping! We made a pitstop at Mod Apparel, a fab boutique that had us swooning over their stylish finds. We snagged some fantastic pieces to freshen up our spring wardrobes, and then we treated ourselves to some heavenly coffee and pastries at L'îlette Boulangerie. Seriously, that place knows how to make a mean cup of joe!

Part 3: Surfing

But the real highlight was our family trip to Tofino. Picture-perfect beaches, incredible surf, and a laid-back vibe that's hard to beat. We stayed at Pacific Sands, a beachfront resort that felt like paradise. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing? Absolute bliss.

Surfing was a must, so we hit up Surf Sister for some board rentals. Abbygail was a natural on the waves, and even I managed to catch a few with a big grin plastered on my face. There's just something about being out there in the ocean that makes you feel alive and free.

One evening, we took a leisurely sunset stroll along Cox Bay, soaking in the stunning colors and painting the sky. The next morning, we wandered out to Pettinger Point for a peaceful walk, surrounded by nature's beauty.

And let's not forget the food! Tacofino's vegan tacos were a flavor explosion. They had fresh ingredients and bold flavors, and they were the perfect way to wrap up our island adventure.

As we headed back home, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the memories we made. Vancouver Island has a way of capturing your heart, and I can't wait for our next adventure together. Here's to many more exciting and unforgettable moments!
